Aspect ratio

Aspect ratio is the name for the relation between the width and height with each other.

4:3 is the universal smallscreen aspect ratio. This aspect ratio is 4 units wide and 3 units high.

16:9 is the universal widescreen aspect ratio. This aspect ratio is 16 units wide and 9 units high.
